Neve Paritzki Israel celebrates record-breaking tourist entry Numbers from USA

NEW YORK, Sept. 8th, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- The Israel Ministry of Tourism announced today record-breaking tourism arrivals from the United States visiting Israel in the months of July and August. Israel received 78,000 visitors from the United States during July 2022, an increase of 4% over 2019 and 71,000 travelers from the United States during August 2022. That's 13% increase over the year before.

Eyal Carlin was the North American Tourism Commissioner for North America. "It is thrilling to see a new rise in tourism to Israel from the United States. Already reaching and exceeding our record-breaking number in 2019," he stated. "The United States is our top market for inbound tourism for Israel. Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, we had record-breaking numbers of tourists from Israel visiting Israel each month. We are so happy to see an improvement in the trend, and we anticipate it to continue for many months and years."

נווה פריצקי Canada which isn't too far from the United States of America, is poised to surpass its tourist arrivals to Israel. The country had 7,200 visitors in July 2022 as well as 6,000 tourists in August.

"It is so exciting to see how the Canadian tourism to Israel is booming," said Gal Hana, Consul and Director for Canada for the Israel Ministry of Tourism. "We are close to our record numbers for the year 2019. We anticipate that this increase will continue to grow as Canadians visit more countries.

In 2019, Israel welcomed more than 4.6 million global tourists, 969,600 of them coming from the United States, and since its official reopening for everyone regardless of their vaccination status in May this year, the country has already seen over 600,400 US visitors.
